ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree and house...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! My crepe myrtles put on an incredible show last year but simply curled up and died this year. I wish I knew why... My other trees were amazing, though, so I can't complain!
ReplyDeleteIt is magnificent indeed to see that many colors in one healthy living tree. The only time I see colors on a leaf is when the leaf is dying but it will mean trouble if the whole tree changes color like yours.
ReplyDeleteI linked your blog to mine in my last post. :o)
ReplyDeleteTrees this year are making a kaleidoscope of color. It must be the weather because my Viburnum never did that before. Has your crepe myrtle?
ReplyDeleteThanks Giga & Donna!
ReplyDeleteCM, thanks for the shout out! You do have some gorgeous color in your garden even if you crepe myrtle didn't shine this year.
One, what a shame. This time of year when the leaves are changing their colors is one of my favorites. The landscape is so full of color.
GWGT, I can't remember my crepe myrtle displaying all these colors at once. We've had some extreme weather conditions with very cold nights and very warm days so maybe that is it!?
Amazing that so may colors come from the same tree. Beautiful!
