That is an unexpected angle... Very nice composition. If you hadn't told us, I might not have known what it was.
When I was looking at the photos after loading them on my computer I decided to rotate the photo and all of a sudden the bloom was much more interesting.
Oh, pretty! Mine are looking a little sad today after getting knocked flat by the rains, but I know they'll perk up once the sun shines again.

Daffodils are one of my favorites. I learned to use an SLR in jr. high school photographing daffs.
