At long last...

I was beginning to wonder if our mild winter would result in fewer winter blooms since the spring flowers are up already. But at long last my Camellia are starting to bloom...

with a little visitor...

Happy days at Southern Meadows and happy Friday y'all!

  1. Drugie zdjęcie z owadem na kwiatku jest śliczne, oczywiście pozostałe też są bardzo ładne. Pozdrawiam. *** A second picture of an insect on the flower is beautiful, of course, the rest are very nice too. Yours.

  7. So pretty--thanks for sharing the Camellias. We don't have them here, so it's a special treat to enjoy them on your blog!

  8. Yay! I saw a camellia bush in bloom today at Lowe's and had to smile. It was beautiful. Pity whoever buys it and tries to get it to grow around here!

  9. I like how the softness of the petal is juxtaposed against the rigidness of the stamens. Nice contrast.
