First signs of spring

Over the past week I have been watching my Kwanzan cherry trees (all 12 of them) grow. Here is a photo gallery of the evolution from bud to WOW!

The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a
green thing that stands in the way. Some see Nature all ridicule and
deformity, and some scarce see Nature at all. But to the eyes of the
man of imagination, Nature is Imagination itself.
- William Blake, 1799, The Letters

  1. I think I have this tree but a Double bloom Karin! When we moved here in April of 09 it had already bloomed. I didn't know I had such a beautiful tree until the next year!! Was I surprised! I tried to put you on my Blog List but it won't let me :-( I think it has something to do with your blog name and address being different? I'll follow you!
