    Your flowers are refreshing. I was out photographing blooms today, too, and to think only a couple weeks ago we had snow! Everything is ready to come alive with blossoms. I hope we are finished with frost!

    Wow - so nice to see those first blooms of spring ! My favourite time of year (although we were fortunate enough to miss most of winter for the first time ever !). I hope we'll have some blooms as lovely as these when we get back to Canada in April.

    I really want a Prunus mume--it has been on my wish list for almost 20 years (it's a big list). Now you have reminded me that it should move to the top. Beautiful hellebore--'Ivory Prince is one of my favorites--great foliage.

    All these blooms are encouraging ~ if they are there, then we can't be far behind, right? I've actually got a couple bulbs in bloom (snowdrops and eranthis) so that's perked me up considerably. Happy "early" spring!!

    Hi Karin, your blooms of pre-spring are so lovely, the captures of them are exquisite. We fear this warm weather, but might as well revel in the flowers! :-)
