It is 4 years old now but 2.5 acres is a lot to design and plant. The plants are still maturing and often in the wide shots it still looks very empty. I probably should make an effort to show more so that the change is documented. I hope you find some fun things to do on your holiday!Karin / Southern Meadowshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06514989784715204223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5335626764384885870.post-79591926302675523752012-06-06T16:52:44.484-04:002012-06-06T16:52:44.484-04:00Karin, I don't know that I have ever seen your...Karin, I don't know that I have ever seen your woodland garden on my visits. I bet it is a great place to head when the sun is high in the sky. I try to get al the heavy gardening done in June, because July is just so darn hot that I hardly garden.
We have yet to decide how to spend our summer holiday. Swimming, beach time and eating watermelon all sound like summer things to do.
p.s. Love the shot of your son jumping into the water! One of my favorite non-gardening things to do is to head into DC and use my researchers card to sit in the main reading room of the Library of Congress and just read. It is an exquisite pleasure. :o) I love the long shots of your woods.
