He/she has such a comical look on his face! It has been super dry here, but in the last 2 or 3 days we have had some rain. When we went out to walk the dogs last night, weren't all the frogs and toads, who have been relatively silent of late, singing the most joyous chorus.Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00116583212813729057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5335626764384885870.post-6089404080868782972012-08-02T09:12:40.657-04:002012-08-02T09:12:40.657-04:00Great photos. Initially we had few frogs this year but the enough tadpoles have matured to where we now have scores of frogs, including King (of the pond) Frog. You'd think we'd have fewer given our drought but that's not the case.

I witnessed (and photographed) a rather large specimen becoming a meal - been debating whether or not to post photos.

Enjoyed your owl shots (we could use a great horned owl here - lots of skunks). And gorgeous shots of the monarchs. Unfortunately our large patch of milkweed is almost dead due to lack of moisture - and no more rain today.Rickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07483295526635664974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5335626764384885870.post-88792049442071291202012-08-01T18:31:46.196-04:002012-08-01T18:31:46.196-04:00Na żabki w wodzie mogę patrzeć i patrzeć.
