Wordless Wednesday: Talk to the Animals

Wreathed Hornbill

If we could talk to the animals, just imagine it
Chatting to a chimp in chimpanzee
Imagine talking to a tiger, chatting to a cheetah
What a neat achievement that would be.

Emerald Tree Boa

If we could talk to the animals, learn their languages
Maybe take an animal degree.
We'd study elephant and eagle, buffalo and beagle,
Alligator, guinea pig and flea

River Otter

We would converse in polar bear and python,
And we could curse in fluent kangaroo.
If people asked us, can you speak in rhinoceros,
We'd say, "Of courserous, can't you?"

Low-land Mountain Gorillas

If we could talk to the animals, learn their languages
Think of all the things we could discuss
If we could walk with the animals, talk with the animals,
Grunt and squeak and squawk with the animals,
And they could squeak and squawk and speak and talk to us.

  1. Splendid photos ! Although I don't see myself sidling up to a boa for a little tree-side chat ! That gorilla shot is great !

  3. Beautiful shots Karin...I'm not a snake fan either but you can't deny their beauty!

  4. If I could talk to the animals, I would tell them you took wonderful shots of them and they should be proud of their photos!

  5. Thank you Cat! I have become much more tolerant of snakes since I have to put on a brave face for my children. Otherwise I would be harassed relentlessly about them. We have a number of rat snakes (non-venomous) in our garden which keep the venomous snakes at bay so they serve a good purpose. I just have to watch out for them when I am gardening.

Thanks One for your sweet comment!
